Devotion's Ultimate Flipping Guide Empty

1.0 - Intro
Hello, I am here to explain a method to making massive amounts of money in a short amount of time, Flipping. I have been merching for awhile now and have a lot of experience with this technique. I have learned from my mistakes and now I rarely ever get losses. My guide will teach you how to successfully flip items to increase your bank value with minimal effort needed. I will not be telling you every little thing about flipping, as that would take forever. So take on Flipping and learn for yourself today!

2.0 - Requirements
There are low requirements to be able to flip, well actually, there are about no requirements at all except to have a minimum of 1-10 mill to begin flipping for a decent amount of profit. Remember: The more money you invest, the more items you are able to flip, therefore, the more profit you will gain in a certain amount of time. For flipping, time is not a requirement as you don't need a whole lot of effort to be on your way to making mils or even bils with flipping. The only thing concerning time with flipping is limits, but I will get to limits later in the guide.

3.0 - Picking Your Item
Picking your item is probably, if not, the most frustrating part of flipping for veteran flippers and beginning flippers. Most flippers will find an item that has worked for them in the past and save it in notepad or whatever works for them. Always keep track of your past flips to try them again in the future. Don't always think your past flips will work again. Always look at the graphs be certain.

Many people have stopped merchanting because they can not find a good item to flip. They think that flipping is not meant for them. Well this is very misunderstood. In the beginning, it is always hard to find a good item, so never give up. Remember practice makes flipping become natural.

All i can say is to find an item that fits you and your budget. Most people find a lot more items that don't work for them than items that do work for them, so keep looking. Also, try to never ask another flipper what items have worked for him because for the most part, they will not tell you. Just imagine if they had told you, than they would have lost maximum profit. If you are flipping an item that no one else knows about, then hooray for you; you will be able to buy and sell it much quicker.

A great benefit to flipping is you hardly of take losses. If you ever do, they will be minimal. You will most always lose profit at least once in your flipping adventure. It happens to us all so just keep on flipping. Some flippers have the skill to flip anything no matter what situation they are in. They learn to make the best of what they have.

I will not be telling you my best flips, but I will be giving out some general flips that 'noobs' or beginners like you can start with later in the guide. You can still make a decent amount of profit with these items.

The best piece of advice I can tell you is to try out a bunch of different items and find the best one that fits you and your cash stack.

So, we are finally to the beginning steps to flipping. The first thing you need to do is go to the Runescape homepage and click Grand Exchange under Community at the top. Have mercy on me if you don't know what this is or how to get there. If you don't know how to get there, why are you reading my guide anyways? lol

Once you are here, you will see items with numbers to the right of the item. These numbers represent the item's price and price change for the day. Numbers can either be Positive(+) or Negative(-). These numbers usually show what has been sold and bought a lot of or simply supply and demand.

Positive numbers are in Green as in Below:
Spoiler:

Negative numbers are in Red as in the Picture Below:
Spoiler:

Negative numbers do not necessarily mean that the item is un-flippable. It just means you need to take precaution with the item and watch its margins closely. Usually experienced flippers handle these.

Next, once you take note of those, you can move on to reading graphs. The best graph to have is steady fluctuation, which means the item is not rising/or falling, thus a great item to flip.
Spoiler:

A Crashing graph usually is decreasing over time and it looks a little like this. This means you have to be careful when flipping items like these.
This is usually pointing towards more experienced flippers.
Spoiler:

The final graph is a Rising graph. These items have tendencies to rise over a certain amount of days due to supply/demand. These items are great flipping material. There is no risk investing in items like these because the chance of the item crashing is low.
Spoiler:

NOT A GOOD ITEM - usually crashing items, but not always like I said before
There are items that are sometimes merched by other flippers etc. The item could also be crashing because it was a manipulated item by a merch clan. If you accidently invest in a crashing item you will most definitely lose money, so it is very important to know the graph of the items you pick. Just watch the prices and margins and you will be good. These items are mostly impossible to flip when they’re bought out.

4.0 - Determining your margins
Finding your margins for an item is one of the easier parts in flipping, and it is necessary to start flipping with said item.

I will be using Attack potions for all my examples as they have big margins as of now.

First off - Step 1 - To find your SELL price, Buy only 1 of the items 25-50% higher then regular market price.

Step 2 - Find the price and mark it as your SELL price for later. The SELL price is circled in yellow.
Spoiler:

Step 3 - Sell the item for 1gp (don't worry, you will get much more than 1gp for it, if you don't then you fail at life.) Haha jk. Write down this price and call it your BUY price. It is circled in yellow.
Spoiler:

From all this you get your Profit Margin. The profit margin for Attack potions is 72gp.
222gp - 150gp = 72gp

5.0 – The Flip
How do you flip? Well it’s pretty easy if I do say myself. Basically you buy an item for low price then you sell for a higher price every four hours depending on its limits.
To start the flip,

Step 1 - Put a offer in 2gp above the BUY price:
Spoiler:

Step 2 - When you get the item, however much of the amount, put a offer 2gp below the SELL price:
Spoiler:

I bought and sold 996 attack potions because I can, so deal with it.

If you forgot what the BUY price and SELL price is scroll up to 4.0 - Determining your Margins.

If you did this process correctly, you will have profited a good amount of the item’s worth with only 5-20 minutes of work.
Remember: If your cash pile is lower than 20m, it’s better to invest in lower priced items such as runes instead of higher priced items such as God-swords where you can only buy 5-10.

6.0 – Limits
Every item in the Grand Exchange has a limit per 4 hours for buying. There are no limits for selling. This means you can only buy a certain amount of the item every 4 hours. I will list the limits of the most common flipped items.

Rares - 2
Treasure Trail Items - 2
God Wars Armour - 10
Barrows - 10
Most Weapons/Armour - 100
Seeds - 1,000
Jewellery - 5,000
Talismans - 5,000
Bows - 5,000
Gems - 5,000
Bow Strings - 10,000
Unstrung Bows - 10,000
Vials - 10,000
Arrows - 10,000
Cowhides - 10,000
Soft Clay - 10,000
Ashes - 10,000
Feathers - 10,000
Bones - 10,000
Potions - 10,000
Herbs - 10,000
Food - 10,000
Spirit Shards - 10,000
Bars - 10,000
Fish - 10,000
Ores - 25,000
Flax - 25,000
Logs - 25,000
Runes - 25,000

All of these are great flipping items to start with. Even if they are low in price, they could have wide margins. So keep looking!

7.0 - Important Tips and Tricks
1. If you test out an item for maximum and you receive the item at LOWEST, it is better to not flip that item, make sure the margins are good.
2. If the items are not buying after 10 minutes, raise the buy price by a little.
3. Flipping on weekends is the best time to flip because most items during those days raise because of bots, so you’ll be able to make more profit.
4. Don't assume Flipping is always 100% chance of profit (although this is often the case...), you can still lose money. Don't be afraid to cut your losses.

8.0 - Conclusion
The first week of flipping will be frustrating but after a few days of this, you will get the hang of it. Once you get the hang of it, money will never be easier to make. You might even find that rare you've always been dreaming of. I think you know what I am talking about. HAHA Devotion's Ultimate Flipping Guide Santa_hat You could take hours skilling and never make as much money as you could flipping with minimal effort a day. You will be shocked that you actually made a good amount money with hardly any effort. I hope you enjoyed this guide and I hope it helps everyone.
