Magic is the best method of killing Mithril Dragons, as it is very efficient
How to get there:

Games Necklace to Barbarian Assault and run south to the dock, jump into the whirlpool. You will be located in a small room where nothing will attack you. Here you should use your antifire potion, and activate the Protect from Magic. Now go down the stairs, run south past the Green Dragons(WARNING: IF YOU DON'T ANTI FIRE THEY CAN HIT REALLY HIGH 500+), and climb the stairs located to the south-east. Once upstairs, activate your prayers for combat, drink any potions, and fight the dragons.
